Some people take advantage of people pleasers, and then when we start sticking up for ourselves, they don't want to accept that they were taking advantage of us, so they blame us for changing, even though they just don't have the capacity to understand the shift.

I've been in a similar situation. Tbh, if they bought whatever narrative your ex-friend told without checking with you to begin with, they probably weren't great friends. Not caring can be healthy. Especially if you find other, more genuine people to care about, that also care about you.

My therapist once told me something interesting. She said this society doesn't value truth. A lot of people would rather stay ignorant to indulge their feelings. But you can't force anyone to do anything. It's hard enough to force yourself to do things sometimes.

For those who don't know: anything that asks you to run terminal or command prompt when you weren't specifically looking to change settings on your computer should instantly be considered dangerous.

Not sure if many know, but considering it is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, this might just feel fitting.

If you ever come across a website that does a CloudFlare security prompt, and it asks you to "copy" something - DON'T. This is an attempt to get you to run malware. It's becoming more common.

I'm trying to do this more when my image contains a lot of text. As someone who (presumably) uses screen readers, is it helpful to describe the image too, or is adding the text in the alt text enough? Sorry for my ignorance.

Lucas has been an amazing friend to me. I know a lot of you don't know him, but he streams too, and he is a huge source of inspiration for myself and others to be true to ourselves, even when the world doesn't want us to.
