If this were indeed altruistic, Trump would immediately support the elected opposition leader and provide economic support. That ain’t happening cuz he wants the oil and minerals. Cuba (seized US owned resorts) Greenland (mineral) are next…nobody to stop him…no military cares or is strong enough.

So Trump is now saying he wants oil companies to get their oil rights and related properties back (nothing to do with drugs). That happened in the 1970s. By this logic, we need to invade Cuba to get our resort properties back and China since we lost rights when our guy was kicked out in 1940s.

This won’t matter to his 30% cult core and Stephens drives me bonkers sometimes, but this cuts to the heart of why I have a pit in my stomach when I look at the damage done and my kids’ future here.
