This was something I was doing on Twitter, so I'll do it here as well. Best Actress is my favorite category of the Oscars (and all the awards tbh), so I'm going to share my rankings of the nominees from the years in which I've seen all the nominated performances.
Look, Meryl Streep, Jessica Lange, and Anne Bancroft are very talented actresses, and they are quite good in their respective films, but, would I give their spots to Cher in Mask, Norma Aleandro in La Historia Oficial, and Mia Farrow in The Purple Rose of Cairo? In a heartbeat!

So far I have seen 5 adaptations of Frankenstein: the two James Whale movies from 1931 and 1935, the Hammer version from 1957, the Kenneth Branagh version from 1994, and Guillermo del Toro's version from this year.
