In April 2024, Spotify implemented a new scheme: songs with less than 1k streams per year would no longer receive royalties.

The data for 2025 was just released via Luminate, and 88% of songs have been demonetized.

Read it again: 88% of songs on Spotify have been demonetized.

Okay so they told us we couldn’t post our robot master designs other places…so I took that very literally. A silly comic about my 3 robots!

Comic about my robot master design contest entries. In this comic, the appear as the objects they were inspired by. Preassure woman as a small toolbox sized Preassure washer. Atomizer man is a small heart shaped bottle of perfume. Panel 1: Preassure and Atomizer sit on a bench together inside a nondescript room. A small megaman styled caption box introduces "DKN.003 PRESSURE WOMAN" The two talk. Preassure asks Atomizer: "...You aren't nervous?" Atomizer responds "Hm? No Not particularly." "how..." "?" 2: Preassure yells in shock, her body deforming cartoonishly to emphasize her shock as she yells "HOW CAN YOU BE SO CALM?!" Atomizer flinches and tells her to stop. 3: Preassure wilts "Participating in a contest like this...The pressure of it all. Uhg..." 4: Atomizer reached out to her with his bulb. "Well, how about this?" 5: Atomizer gestures and seems to almost wink. "There are so many entries, you're 1/500 or something. You're probably not going to win anyways...so just leave the winning to the rest of us♡" A caption box introduces "DKN.004 ATOMIZERMAN" 6: Preassure perks up at this "Oh,,,okay! That sounds really nice! Ah, thank you so much Atomizer!" Atomizer sparkles "Your welcome." Off screen, a new voice chimes in loudly "That ain't right Atomizer!" Panel 1: The camera turns to show a wall thats been off to the right. Through a massive hole in the wall where rebar bends and rubble crumbles arrives Harvest Woman. She's in the form of a massive fruit harvesting machine usually used in orchards. A caption box introduces: "DKN.002 HARVEST WOMAN" She waves one of her vacuums as she speaks "We ain't got no control over who ends up winnin!" Atomizer points at her and sprays out in frustration: "GET SMALLER!" he yells at her. "Ah, sorry!" 2: Harvest poofs into a much smaller form, a single persimmon. She hops towards Preassure and Atomizer on their bench. Atomizer jeers "Isn't it *your* job to keep hearts from getting bruised, Harvest?" Harvest responds "That's *fruits* Atomizer" Atomizer responds under his breath "Still applies."
