it sucks all around. like i dont have a ton of sympathy for this person since im not enough of a saint to meet people who rabidly hate me with gentle patience, but i recognize that its prolly not a fun place to be in mentally and their community is prolly encouraging unhealthy obsession over this

and wrt discourse this is true on both "sides," as much as i hate framing it as if its a war with sides. back on twt there are a Lot of proship accounts that are devoted to "look how dumb this anti is" and picking fights. no one is rly immune to it bc modern socmed is designed to make u angry

Thinking a lot about "Harvester" this week.
It was a 1996 PC game that was made both to be super-violent, but also as a meta-commentary on violent games.
The 90s were a really rough time for video games, with conservative groups battling against them constantly.

--jesus i forgot that hearts anime is going to be 8 episodes. my brain changed "yeah its going to be short" to the normal short anime length of 12 episodes

that is a really short span of time to cover...not a /lot/ of material, but likely more than 8 episodes worth
