This is why it's fruitless to argue with people who say The Acolyte is "bad writing" because they genuinely hold up their YouTubers' commentary higher than the thing being discussed - the thing giving those tubers a paycheck. They don't care about Star Wars. They care about what side they're taking.

the 'clubs' they mentioned are a thing that just does NOT exist anymore. I honestly think that's the biggest hole
like, clubs, or lj comms, or single-interest forums just do not exist. Today you toss fanart/discussion onto an open sea and pray other fans will see it and engage, and if not, too bad
