I seem to be growing a bit of a following, so I suppose it's time to set some expectations:

I'm a #Dolphins fan, cover the #Vikings for #VikingsWire, and am into #HardRock & #Metal. Skeets will mainly revolve around those topics. With the occasional #food, dad joke, or #CriticalRole skeet mixed in
It should have happened years ago, but the #Dolphins and GM Chris Grier have (finally) parted ways and the search for a new GM begins.

Mike McDaniel -- at least for now -- will survive the season, but does he make it to next year? We'll see
I'm in favor of it
Did the Dolphins lose their energy in the second half?

Minkah Fitzpatrick: “It’s not about energy, it’s about execution.”
Hey Spoon, how old will you be when the #Dolphins are Super Bowl contenders again?

Me:
Ahhh, there's the #Dolphins team I'm used to. They had me worried there that they might have figured out how to be competent
The issue with Chuck isn't that he has developed hearing issues. It's that he's still in a position to make policy decisions while being 5 years older than the invention of chocolate chip cookies
The 92-year-old Republican admitted to suffering from hearing issues, despite already planning his re-election bid for 2028.

I always get drawn back to Al Gore telling voters that he’d only raise taxes on the top 1% and then after the election a poll showed that something like 20% of voters thought they were in the top 1% and another 20% thought they would be in the next five years. Just a total tragic disconnect.
Maaaaan, this. So much this. Every time there's any kind of actual in-depth survey we find that the American people are *abysmally* ignorant about even the most basic political facts, but the pundit class just immediately forgets & proceeds with political analysis based on subtle policy differences.
Feels like so many of our convos are revolving about how voters respond to what politicians are doing, or what parties’ positions on issues are, without much actual empirical sense of what they actually know about those topics.
Listen, I know the (likely) answer but I have to ask the question: Are there monkeys that are infected with Hep C, monkeys that are infected with herpes, and monkeys that are infected with COVID, or are the monkeys all simultaneously infected with all three?

Because you can read it either way!
A truckload of rhesus monkeys from Tulane university escaped after a crash. The university warned they’re highly aggressive toward humans and infected with hepatitis C, herpes, and COVID.
Monkeys on the loose after truck overturns in Heidelberg; public urged to call 911
A truck transporting monkeys from Tulane University overturned on I-59 near Heidelberg, with several monkeys reportedly on the loose posing health risks.

My question is this: I get that the #Vikings wanted to shelve McCarthy as long as possible to let him get healthy...How was throwing Wentz out there in that condition a better option than rolling with Brosmer and seeing what you have there? #Skol
Well this is a nice change of pace...The backup is in because of the team having a big lead, not because of Tua shitting the bed #Dolphins #FinsUp #GoFins
I would assume Dallas Turner's gonna get a pretty hefty fine for that hit. Can't be launching yourself into the head of a QB #Vikings #Skol

If I was the #Giants, I would simply not allow 33 points in the fourth quarter

no one needs to fall into the trap of thinking the WS winner is gonna impact the CBA negotiations. It wasn't true about the NLCS and it won't be true about the WS, it's just a wedge issue to distract people from the fact that owners will use _any_ result as a means to argue they should make more $$
Miami has three choices, all bad:

1.) Continue to play Tua, who is Not Good™️
2.) Cut him and eat $100 million in dead cap
3.) Bench him and pay a backup $50+ million
"How do you feel about your team's execution?"
"I'm in favor of it"
I think that's enough from the Dolphins. No not Tua, not Mike McDaniel, the whole franchise. no more need for it

if brosmer has a peterman game i'm not mad but if carson does i am, so by that metric,
What is the solution? Put in an injured qb? A UDFA rookie?
Three of the last four plays for Carson Wentz have been disaster. Two picks and a backwards pass for a big loss. Incredible sequence of events, and not a positive use of "incredible" #Skol #MINvsPHI
Might be about time we see what Brosmer can do, cause Wentz is killing them right now #Skol #MINvsPHI
