For any of my Star Trek friends on here that might be interested, over on my @pt.letterboxd.social I have a running list of every movie I watch that has a Star Trek actor in it. It's a nice list if you need help picking something to watch & they all contain Trek actors

That blown strike 3 call is gonna haunt the Phillies this inning. It may end the series.

BRB. Gonna go pace the street and probably pace out. #phillies

It's risky, but if I'm Rob Thomson, I'm running Cris Sanchez out there for the 7th.

The Phillies are making me FEEL this

Regardless of the outcome of tonight’s Phillies game, my main thought is “I can’t believe they’re doing this to me”

The Phillies starters have been masterful this entire series and have gotten essentially no run support. It's astonishing

The good news is the Phillies only need to get 15 more outs from their pitchers. The bad news is the Phillies lineup only has 15 more outs to get a run.

Brian Anderson calls pop ups like homers and it is very annoying. Get a play-by-play guy who can accurately read fly balls. How hard is this for the playoffs?

In the future, I hope there is technology that allows words on TV to be muted automatically. Kinda like muted words here. Because in this Phillies-Dodgers game, I would love to mute the word "shadows"

This NLDS broadcasting crew on TBS is the worst. Just very, very bad.

What’s so impressive about Kyle Schwarber’s place in all-time postseason home runs is his done it in far fewer plate appearances than the others on this list. Incredible

Many of us, myself included, thought the decision to start Aaron Nola in the Phillies’ decisive game was a very bad one by Rob Thomson.

We were wrong. A lot of credit to Thomson there. It worked out so well.

My wife just went to bed. I told her if she hears a despairing, deep weeping later, it is because of a baseball team. #phillies

The Phillies lineup will be the death of me

Even Aaron Nola is giving the Phillies lineup a chance.

Fucking do something.
starktrek.bsky.social
Nola is coming in for the Phillies for the start. God be with us, whatever happens.

I would like for the sun not to set at 4p in the next few weeks. Who do I speak to about this?
starktrek.bsky.social
I have no hope, and Aaron Nolan should absolutely not be starting this game, but… Phillies are winning tonight.

I’m a big Rob Thomson defender. I think he’s a hell of a manager. He’s made a few calls this series that have backfired, but I think those are relatively minor, highlighted by a lineup and bullpen that just hasn’t performed.

That said, this Nola decision could cost him his job if it backfires.
