I had a good trailer until it got stolen, now I just have the BOB trailer which is great bags and low things but sucks with anything having a higher center of gravity.

My place of employment is wanting to host a "tailgate social" & asking for department team leaders to volunteer to set up & decorate a car, provides games, food etc, but they are only supplying the parking lot! I'm half tempted to do this just to be "that guy" who shows up with a bike!

My new boss ask this question. My response was "way more than you think I do, & way more than the institution has documented as my duties. I invite you to come spend some time in our departments learning what we do!" He called me into a private meeting to tell me thank you for the advice!

Would love to see some of your work. I've converted two long sleeve dress shirts to short sleeves after some years and then these jeans. Second fix on these jeans. 1st was a red zigzag stitch to place a patch running horizontally to strengthen the crease, but that recently failed in the two sports.

While I love visiting other cities, KC will always be home because of days like yesterday. While on a 20 mile ride though multiple neighborhoods I saw 6 different friends enjoying their evening whether it was drinks on a patio, dinner at a nice restaurant or getting ice cream to go!

I've been able to parley many social media encounters into lasting connections. It's given me a voice I would not have had without. I've had political leaders/city officials reach out for my opinion. I've had random people ask for help buying bikes & connected at least 6 with good pre-loved bikes!

It was always the KCATA's plan to end the Main Max, but it is unfortunate that the 47 also ends service along the downtown to midtown Broadway route. From what I understand, this was new.
