Indded they do. So do 100/1 chances in NH.The key factor is letting owners, trainers and punters believe they have a fair chance after the draw is made. How many non-runners would it stop? Anyway, it looks like one we won't agree on at any point. Good for healthy debate, though. Ta.

For politics and democracy to work the way they should, the key changes should be abolishing this type of nonsense, banning party donations from any person or organisation who might stand to gain from it, and allowing lobbying to be done only in writing and never to a named individual.

I'm a jumps man so not a fount of Flat knowledge, but I'd imagine that the likes of Beverley and Chester have a ton of data no matter what the weather conditions: the allowances could be published at the start of each season for all types of situations. Why do you believe it would not be popular?

They were never anything but strangers, as I warned when the £2k 'gift' suits from Waheed Ali hit the news at the start of his premiership. That signalled all you needed to know about his judgement qualities Good judgement cannot be learned at his age. The 'small' things always tell the tale.

A solution to all draw advantages is about the easiest thing to fix in racing. In most cases, there is a ton of data on which to base weight concessions per disadvantaged stall. But the pearl-cutching purists yell 'handicap' and it never see the light of day.

I am watching celebrations in Gaza and in Israel. They either prove that hope can never be extinguished or that people never learn - maybe a mixture of both. They are based on promises made by perhaps the three biggest liar-murderers in history: Natanyahu: Trump, and Hamas.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.

Surely a matter of time before these police chases are made illegal in all but extreme cases. Plenty of evidence that cops cannot resist the thrill of the chase at the cost of death and destruction to the public.
