New research from MIT found that those who used ChatGPT can’t remember any of the content of their essays.

Key takeaway: the product doesn’t suffer, but the process does. And when it comes to essays, the process *is* how they learn.

It's time for the penguin weigh-in! 🐧

These three macaroni penguins from the 'Little Mac' colony on Bird Island near Antarctica are off to forage at sea to feed their new chicks.

We use an automated weighbridge to monitor their weight and foraging patterns! 🪶

I often show my students this visualization of how atmospheric CO₂ travels around the globe. Our attitude toward burning fossil fuels would change significantly if we could actually see CO₂.

Plastic not fantastic! Nanoplastics could be reducing the amount of carbon Antarctic krill can store by 27% 😰

Antarctic krill are #climate heroes, storing 20m+ tonnes of carbon per year:
☘️ Phytoplankton absorb CO₂
🦐 Krill eat the tiny plants
💩 Their poo sinks to the deep ocean
♻️ This locks away CO₂
