The whole "a family of 4 making $100k is in a more precarious position than a family making $40k" is one hundred percent predicated on the idea that subsidies 1) exist 2) don't take work to get 3) continue existing 4) are not stressful in and of themselves.

I usually start by reverse-outlining, or perhaps writing a synopsis, because it's better to fix high-level problems like a messed-up structure before you go for individual words. (i.e., do your dev editing before you do line edits) #SpoonieAuthChat
