This thing abt popular = bad is nnneeeeehh I really cant stand that mentality bc I think its potentially missing out on something good bc of stubbornness. Also remember u can enjoy something without having to interact with its fans. There will always be a group of annoying people everywhere

I'll engage the discussions around E33 winning everything to bring up this argument alone.
I'm happy a game from a relatively small studio won. But I don't want everything to become an E33-like like many fans argue.

I hate the online reaction cycle that praises a piece of art a lot and uses it as an example of what’s good about the medium but then the moment it gets awards or enough acclaim or fandom, suddenly we have to talk about how it’s actually not really that good and it’s overrated and always sucked
