Well, orange man baby Trump [the convicted felon, sexual abuser, pathological liar, alleged pedophile and 2 year old having constant tantrums] has been busy spewing hate in between his naps, looking like he don’t give a toss when someone faints in his office and humiliated by booing at an NFL match.

Just finished watching Washington Black, one my top 10 series for 2025.

Will definitely pick up the book, the author was born in Calgary but now lives here in BC I believe.
Washington Black on Disney+ is an outstanding watch; I hope it encourages people to read Esi Edugyan's novel, as well. #WashingtonBlack #EsiEdugyan

One humiliation after another for Trump this past week. Undoubtedly more to come unless he steps down.

Rupert Lowe is an extremely vile “politician”, so are his anon followers on social media. Musk is enabling many bad actors, bots and the far right to manipulate British politics attempting to push his fascist agenda. Voters need to consider what Lowe and Musks hate and bigotry mean for the country.
A busy day for Rupert Lowe MP!
☕ Morning: “anti-white racism”
🕛 Lunch: dehumanising refugees
🌇 Evening: xenophobia and calls for the death penalty

Hate and outrage — all before bedtime.
At least we’re aligned on Digital ID… small mercies.

I’m sad for the US that they voted for someone with so much hate in his heart.

At least Trump is one person we can aim not to emulate.

It’s more stressful to hate than to love.

Lets dance... 🕺🎶
Okay, so I did it. In honor of Sandwich Guy, on what should be the last day of his trial, I figured out the chords. And so, with apologies to the late and great Bob Marley, I banged out this quick and (very) rough rendition of "I Threw the Sandwich." 🤣

Daily Kos has produced a bunch of statistics on Canada vs USA.

The "democracy index" interested me which has most likely got worse for the US since the Trump admin got into office.

This sounds like a really positive development. I wonder if Canada would consider doing this?
-Top UK mobile carriers will block spoofed phone numbers starting next year
-Six telcos to participate
-Network upgrades underway
-Telcos will mark calls coming from abroad to prevent scams
-Also roll out "advanced call tracing technology" to let police hunt down scammers

I remember my phone number from 1966 like it was yesterday.

I always forget my current phone number and have to carry a business card to remind me.

Getting old maybe.

With Budget 2026, we thankfully see Women and Gender Equality funding protected from cuts. However, the Government has failed to take steps to modernize Canada's charity laws, limit the dangerous misinformation of anti-choice clinics or end the privileged tax deductions for clergy.
