The good news is that around four coats of gesso in alternating directions with a big scratchy hardware store brush creates a great canvas texture!

The bad news is that I was Banksy’d by my cat and have to patch it all up now

to my chagrin, this is not printed on canvas like I thought and is completely smooth, so its gonna need a lot more gesso than this

☑️took a semester of freshman oil painting once in like 2009

☑️it’s pride

A giant shitty ikea print of a red bus in London that my wife and I paid like a hundred American dollars for in collage and have hauled around ever since because it was too big to fit in our car and we had to rent a van to get it home and its pure sunk cost fallacy at this point
