I grew up in a rural environment where death is a constant companion. You learn from birth to avoid risks and to be reliable because anything less could mean death for you or your family or even your entire community. You cannot believe how much it pisses me off when I don't get a reply to an email.

We got a new (old) car recently, a 2009 Honda CR-V, so we got a Sony head unit put in that does the Airplay stuff. Kate just realised she can dictate messages while she's driving. She said it made her feel like an old-time boss. I think she's going full Gary Numan... www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrjM...

Had a 10" 45RPM dubplate of my War Pigs EP made by Phonolab in Newcastle...sounds great! I grew up during the heyday of the 12" maxi-single, so it's a pretty nostalgic format for me.

Going to see Good Boy tonight, at the Nova in Carlton, but it means leaving the dogs at home...if a movie has dogs in it, you should be allowed to bring your dogs to the theatre. And if a company uses a dog as a mascot or in advertising you should be allowed to take a dog into their store, surely...

I'm kind of shocked by the people I know who have sold out. I mean they've turned into the people they used to say they hated...is it just what happens when you get a bit of authority? Is it just the nature of institutions, that they produce monsters? Was it always just lies and posturing?
