Pearl Jam 'Ten' springs to mind - I sold it on to another kid at school for the agreed price of £8 but he kept stalling on the payment and eventually gave me about £5, entirely in coppers. I was still happy to be rid of it.

What albums does everyone regret buying? Loads for me, but the one that really sticks in my mind is K by Kula Shaker, which I forced myself to listen to joylessly several times in the desperate attempt to convince myself I hadn’t wasted my money, and still get cringes of regret about 29 years later.

It is indeed Reviewer 2 who is sniffier about the work - so this is par for the course? Is it someone who is selected because they're liable to be more critical or dismissive?

Just received my first peer reviews for a dissertation and video essay that I've reworked for publication. One reviewer says that the work is really original, impactful etc while the other begrudgingly accepts that it has potential but seems otherwise unimpressed. I take it this is normal?
