If you're using AI to shortcut your story dev process be careful. AI bots/chats etc SUCK at real story dev. They're fine for high-level brainstorming but not real story math. This is a purely human activity at this point. LLMs are inept with this particular thing. Pls don't drink that Kool Aid.

THE BIZ: I'm seeing tons of "cinematic AI" snippets of "movies" online now and they are all terrible. Clunky, bad dialogue, worse lighting, just all bad. AI is inept with any soup-to-nuts filmmaking—gr8 for repetitive production/post stuff but storytelling—forget it. #scriptsky #writingcommunity

Had a weird memory today of the first plane flight I ever took and how my mother got me all dressed up in a coat and tie for the trip. In those days you (60s) people did that when they traveled. Now they wear board shorts and Hawaiian shirts and flipflops to the Oscars.
