Voter suppression is legal. And when it’s not, it can be legalized very easily. To the point that our government is doing it here (New Zealand) as well! Like it’s not some nefarious secret illegal conspiracy thing.

She paused for applause - not a sausage - and went on 'He made several trips to the Whitechapel Bell Foundry'.

i truly would have thought that Luxon would have the election before the USA elections because his buddy Trump is hopefully going to do incredibly badly.

Mum turns 94 on Saturday. So it’s time for my annual promise that i will never let a tiara, sash or feather boa anywhere near her if she makes it to 100. Me i would love all things but i support her choices

I don't watch any NZ media so can somebody tell me which 'journalist' greeted him with the question "WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN?"

Nobody you say...

I doubt any major buisness person in NZ has a problem with with how Donald Trump runs America. These people are not us, they pay people to ensure they pay the least possible tax.

Swimming attempt in Wellington failed today:( 3 beach spots 3 crystal jellyfish sightings. While i know they have a mild harmless sting. I also know how badly i react to most things and i cannot risk allergic reactions right now.

isn't it weird that i now trust WCC less because within council the mayor and deputy mayor are white men and they decided to promote a man who spread explicit lies about the former mayor.
The year ahead: If amalgamation is the answer, then it must have public support, argues Wellington's new mayor.
Reports of the capital city's death are greatly exaggerated

The shop that provides a chunk of my income just closed due to reading's renovations, long term it's a good thing, short term it hurts me A LOT. I wish WCC could start it's courtenay place renovations instead of a review, which i bet will contain dumb assumptions by out of touch consultants
Cautious optimism is the vibe for 2026.

Having our Civic heart beating again with Te Matapihi, City Gallery and council relocating nearby will be transformational.

Add in work at Reading, Amora and Band Rotunda too = more reason for optimism.

if you think private information like your full name, address, email, phone number NHI number can't be used to get money out of someone then think again. people confused by a medical center saying they have overdue fines, then hackers go on a 10 minutes spending spree with your credit card details
