Super Mario World has an extremely eclectic art style whereby many enemies are drawn in completely different ways. Development files reveal Mario went through many stylistic changes; it is possible that all the enemies were made to fit Mario, but at different points in time.

So I've been working on setting up a Windows 98 PC to play this on. I thought it'd be neat to do #DOSember on actual hardware.
I've got it working and can capture it nicely, but... the output is really nothing special, as I don't have any of the fancy tech from the day like an MT-32.
