"Just wanted to point out that Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff is quite possibly the most vulnerable Senator in America right now and tonight, he voted no on this deal.

This is what courage looks like."
Don’t try to tell us we might get the ACA subsidies now that you have caved - it is an insult to the intelligence to all of us who have been supporting Dems for years.
Don’t be disingenuous- almost 20 million citizens will lose health insurance - you gave up your leverage. Are you going to give up your own great insurance?
Do not cave - you are failing your constituents

The Dems who are caving are doing so not because their base wants them to,

not because the voters want them to,

not because the fed workers and SNAP recipients want them to…

they are caving because their DONORS want them to.

And that’s really all that ever matters to the corrupt
I called Schumer. Probably should also call Gillibrand.

Walmart, McDonalds and Amazon are the largest employers of people who require SNAP assistance.

The CEOs earned between 18-40 million last year, 1000x their median employee income.

They took billions in profits, while their workers relied on SNAP to survive.

Wanna fix fraud and abuse?

Fix that.

The USDA is the fail safe for SNAP.

They have a contingency fund to ensure it’s covered in the event of a shutdown.

They’re refusing.

Grocery stores stepped up to try and help by offering discounts to any SNAP recipients and the USDA told them they had to stop.

Starvation as a policy choice.

Why?

Thus proving the demonstrators point
Watch this.

Open your eyes to this brutality.

ICE beats up, drags & abducts this disabled visually impaired man.

Now share this.

Everyone must see the brutality of this administration & ask themselves what they are doing to push back.

You have power.

Even sharing this video exerts that power.

Health insurance costs jumped for workers & employers in 2025.

This will get worse if the GOP refuses to extend ACA subsidies.

Meanwhile, the seven largest health insurance companies made a combined $71B in profits in 2024.

Still not sure we need Medicare for All?
In Albany NY, protesters lined up along a 2.5 mile stretch of a major avenue; few black/brown protesters but many black/brown drivers honking and waving encouragement. We need next step of inflicting economic pain - only thing I have done on that score is boycotting Target and a few others.
