Media & Cons trying to make too much of Carney's response to a reporter when asked about Trump, replied, "who cares" I agree with Carney! We are getting deals all over the world. Why get a headache over a 4th grader?

I’m Canadian. I don’t often comment on US stories, but this is too much. All the things they’ve allowed, firings, killings, ripping away Medicare, trillions to the rich, attacks in the streets by masked hoodlums funded by government… and this is the final straw? They don’t get to make announcements?

Congress voting to condemn socialism suggests the facade is cracking. Watching from the outside, absolute socialism denial has seemed a given in the US, to the country’s great loss. Capitalism drives an effective bus but doesn’t inherently care who it runs over. Balance is needed. That’s democracy.

When you get an electric car you don’t only get cheap transportation. There’s an unavoidable energy conservation mindset. You don’t just fill up and drive, you’re hands on. You pay attention to how much you use, what it costs, where it comes from, how it’s sourced. It’s a satisfying shift.

First they abuse the marginalized. When that resource is tapped out or blocked they expand the classes of marginalized—endless growth demands it—and soon the marginalized includes you. Your deepest fear, that the whips you condoned turn on you, makes you fodder for their two great lies, that… 1/2

This is astonishing. Conservatives did the math and made sure the budget passed because they knew if they caused an election they’d wear it. Please stop the fragging gaslighting. WE’RE NOT STUPID!
“We”?
Um, three of “you” didn’t.

The budget vote better go through. No one and I mean no one has an appetite for another election. I trust the PhD in Economics to help us through all of this, not the slumlord whose never had a real job.

As I’ve said already, it’s like a dream. Finally! Let’s do it and see how we make out.
It’s not just what we build. It’s how we build.

We’re building major projects sustainably, in partnership with Indigenous peoples, in solidarity with union workers, and we are building Canadian – with Canadian materials and technology.

This is like a dream. Job growth, growing economic independence, environmentally responsible, respecting First Nations. Let’s support it, give it a chance and see to what extent it delivers, what this future vision brings.
When we build major projects sustainably, we’re investing in a clean energy future — one that will support Canadian workers and businesses for generations to come.
