I know far more people who are unable to get even basic accommodations for their diagnosed disabilities than I know people cheating an imaginary system that's giving away support and services. In fact, I'd go so far as to say most disabled people are grossly underserved by our current system.
Balancing "no person with a disability should be denied accommodations" with "it's important to discourage non-disabled people from pretending to be disabled to take advantage of these accommodations" is really difficult and I don't have a great answer for what anyone should do about it.

every trans person i see post about the OU suspension knows that the suspended target is trans & a grad student, & has an innate awareness that this is about purging trans employees. every cis person i see thinks the target is a rando professor & that this is about giving conservatives good grades

Just so we’re clear; if you use gen AI for your writing at all then I don’t care what themes the work contains or what point you are trying to make. Using gen AI tells me that you fundamentally cannot engage with or create art in any meaningful way and nothing you have to say to me has any value.
