STAND!
Stand for the things you know are right . . .
Stand, in the end, you'll still be you . . .
Stand, you've been sitting much too long . , ,
Stand, they will try to make you crawl , , ,
Stand, there's a midget standing tall , , ,
And a giant beside him about to fall.

NOW IS THE TIME TO STAND

#TIME

New Year.

TIME & MOTHER NATURE.

Respect Time & Mother Nature.

Work/Look towards a more humane and better future on the planet.

Respect Time.
It won't come around again.
Never does.
Mother Nature gone do what she do. Understand it.

We can mess it up, but we are not in charge of either.

Zohran’s inauguration brimmed w/the energy that NYC is “a shining beacon of possibility” per @jumaane.bsky.social.

Amidst the darkness of authoritarianism, inequality & hate, we have a chance to show what’s possible.

That’s always been our mission as New Yorkers—it was profoundly renewed today.

Leigh H. Mosley's six decades of work form an intimate record of D.C.'s ever-shifting community.

India Kea interviewed the photographer ahead of the release of her latest documentary, which explores the legacy of local Black lesbian elders.

It's one of our team's favorite stories this year:

Garrett Morgan invented a breathing apparatus for firefighters when workers were trapped in a tunnel fire in 1916.

Garrett was the only one brave enough to enter in with his invention.

He saved the lives of every man.

Also, he invented traffic lights.

In less than a week, I will be sworn in as the next mayor of New York City. It was only possible because of the more than 100,000 people who volunteered on our campaign. Here’s a story about one of them, my mother.
