I’ve struggled wondering about leaving for awhile now. Every day I keep making excuses. Now its gotten to a point where every day a feeling of dread haunts me. I don’t want to be a coward leaving all the people fighting behind, but simply, I’m scared of dying, before I really started trying living.

Well. Every birthday usually has something around it to exemplify the coming year. Forgive my optimism I guess. I’d like to dedicate my birthday to the valiant woman who died today fighting to crush ice, and the many others preceding and following her that’ll face the same. I hope its not many.

I have officially lived another year. Last birthday hopefully on this state’s soil. Crazy how lucky I am to still be standing all this time later.
