Didn't place in today's 5k but I got under 24 minutes for the first time in recent memory.
I think I'm a draw with Ray and Venkman, a loss to Egon or Winston, and a win over Tully.
Def at least one guy I've met where it's like, "Oh, you're me if I'd been identified and medicated."
My grandfather would talk about the bell curve as like, a statistical distribution but I don’t remember it coming up with respect to race; just stuff like test scores, athleticism etc.
This is the way.
Like I said earlier, Mox needs to lose and the wool over the eyes of the DRs needs to start lifting. Will be too poetic.
i think wrestledream being the same day as the no kings protests would be perfect timing for an abolish ice shirt or fuck ice sign to make an appearance #AEWCollision 🤼
Walter White, leaving a trail of eggs and feathers: I am the one who boks.
Walter white after getting admitted to the psych ward: I am the one in grippy socks
walter white after getting trolled relentlessly on bluesky: i am the one who blocks
They've really devalued everyone; i remember going to a "mad men" panel 15+ years ago and realizing that every behind the scenes creative person on the show was thinking their contribution through like an author in their own right and i cant think of anything that feels that *invested in* now.
I think bb was the peak of the form and no lesser version ever really took off; also they started killing almost everything after 2 seasons to avoid paying a decent wage; so fewer 5+ szn epics period.
"Here, Jack Perry, whittle this log!"🤼
That's one of the best promos Stat has ever cut and Toni is just on a level all her own and oh shit!🤼
There aren't a lotta big guys who sustain a career like he has either; he's gotta have some insight just in terms of stamina, injury/recovery etc.
The problem with "I love Hitler." becoming the defacto cutoff is that it leaves a Hell of a lot of "You can, in fact, hand it to Hitler" territory wide open that wasn't before.
At least one is an elected official!
Workday is basically 7-6 with all I've taken on.

Often ask myself what the fuck I think I'm doing; cause a lot serves only a few kids, I'm in a small town etc; and the answer is, "Hopefully, good."

Which is a privilege cause a lot of peoples' rage is cause they can't do shit about anything.
Mixed trios main eventing a landmark show is such a cool marker for AEW to lay down. Broken up by ICE, grillbot, and testosterone supplement ads; so we didn't get TOO much escape from the decline, but pretty unthinkable as a new fan back in 2019. 🤼‍♂️

“Baseball” is called that because the semantic geometry of kinetic nouns demanded it. See, the bases are metaphorical spheres of ambition. When the batter strikes the existential chord of cork and cowhide, the bases become “balls” in a metaphysical sense, orbiting his potential energy.
*putting hand down* why is it called baseball if they're not using the bases as a ball
Kid Rock attempts to fight Frog Bloc and they all just surround him at such a density that he helplessly punches air and tires himself out so bad he pukes.
"10-10-97, Rock Springs, Wyoming Hotel/as far as I can tell/I just don't miss you anymore" is the all time emo bar that blesses the day.

Its implied that hes basically done it for 15 straight years!
Don't watch "fight club" or "american psycho" for ideological closure either! You have Bong Joon Ho for that!
I think he just gets high while watching "Battle of Algiers" but I don't think he ever does the (apropos?) meme point.
The most disappointing thing about "One Battle After Another" is that theres never a moment where Leo turns to the camera and tells us the exact right kind of Internet Communist to be.
BBQ loving Texas Guardsman disappears into the jungle of Chicago a la Kurtz in apocalypse now and they find him a year later looking almost exactly the same but surrounded by hot dogs and polish sausages instead of BBQ.
One Battle feels like it captures the Pynchon thing better than Inherent Vice did, which is kind of unexpected, but like, the sadness and the esoteric crackle are much more present here. Long, but largely cause it had to be. Its a generational epic of late America after all.
