This is an important piece. Epstein was a consummate social climber and courted academics as a way of building social clout. Brockman and “the edge” illuminate just how that worked.

Rep. Angie Craig: "The attacks on Black and brown people in Minnesota have been egregious. At the end of the day, what they wanted out of Minnesota was for us to riot. I think this will go down in American history as one of the greatest examples of peaceful resistance from an entire community."

The Trumpists like to present themselves as defenders of the West.

There is one country fighting against brutality and barbarism, and in defense of everything we cherish about the West: Ukraine.

The Trumpists are hostile to Ukraine.

The Trumpists are betrayers of the West.

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

Polling these last two weeks is very clear that Trump has not only lost the argument about ICE, he's also lost it on mass deportation. Country wants him to focus on the criminals and leave the rest of us alone. From new Yahoo/YouGov:

We are going to win.
Yesterday morning kids were sent running from their bus stop in panic because ICE showed up. This guy at today’s ICE Out of Lindenwold protest is a must watch 😭. @maddow.bsky.social

The people who are telling you they are withdrawing ICE from Minnesota are the same people who told you a year ago they would release the Epstein Files in full.

They are not to be trusted. They are allergic to truth and incapable of decency.

Stay vigilant.
Stay united.
Keep fighting.
We will win.

"Previous estimates showed the US economy generated 584,000 jobs in 2025, the first year of Trump’s second term, which was deeply discouraging.

Now, the picture is far worse: The newly revised, final data shows that the U.S. economy actually added only 181,000 jobs..."
