Amplify the good stuff. Bring attention to topics in danger of falling off the radar. Focus on legit news in need of amplification. Remember: Carl Bernstein says, "Truth is not neutral." Christiane Amanpour, says be "truthful, not neutral."

UCLA said no to Trump's abusive demands, went to court, and the govt is backing off.

Harvard said no to Trump's abusive demands, went to court, and the govt is left sputtering.

Columbia, Cornell, and Northwestern giving in was a big mistake. If only there were lessons against appeasing fascists.
This is a genuinely huge, sweeping victory today for the University of California—or rather, for us, its faculty, acting through our faculty associations, while the UC itself maintained a strict policy of deer-in-headlights silence.

The Trump admin has given up its appeal of a powerful injunction:

One thing is clear—the justice system does not support victims or survivors. That’s why Members of Congress are working with Epstein survivors, not just for accountability and justice, but to create a system that believes, protects, and supports them.

Think California has choices. Good ones. Eric Swalwell has more than earned your trust. He's earned your vote. He'll do exactly what he says he's going to do. You know he means what he says because you know him.

The GOP cut our healthcare so they could spend $38.3 billion of our tax dollars on mass detention camps, including one in Merrimack, NH.

That’s a profound & dangerous misplacement of priorities. We should be investing in housing, lowering costs, & supporting families – not building a police state.
Breaking news: ICE expects to spend $38.3 billion on its plan to acquire warehouses across the U.S. and retrofit them into immigrant detention centers that can hold tens of thousands of people, according to agency documents.

I am gonna go out on a limb and say that a Jersey dude so horrified that he went to his first protest and is trying not to cry on camera has a pretty good chance of staying radicalized. And that while Bluesky loves to pick apart things like this, this kinda video moves the needle for OTHER dudes.
Yesterday morning kids were sent running from their bus stop in panic because ICE showed up. This guy at today’s ICE Out of Lindenwold protest is a must watch 😭. @maddow.bsky.social

Dems get a lot of shit for not fighting hard enough against Trump, but they have stood strong on ICE funding. They have the upper hand in this fight; they can win and absolutely cannot blink, no matter how long it goes

Vivek Ramaswamy doesn’t understand the stakes Ohioans are facing, and he never will.

This isn’t a matter of cutting back at the grocery store or pinching pennies; it’s catastrophic.

Read my op-ed⬇️

Acton: Ramaswamy sees Ohio from window of private jet. He doesn't get what you need.
Amy Acton: Vivek Ramaswamy is completely out of touch with the lives of everyday Ohioans. Medicaid and Medicare shouldn't be put in his hands.

Voter fraud is not a real problem.

Our problem isn’t non-citizens illegally voting in our elections. The real problem is American citizens not voting in our elections.

And our even bigger problem is voter suppression.
