Random street encounter, I didn't call him out on the fact LA'S general comic conventions are all done for the year. but I did get a little nerd offended when he called my bag doll a labubu or lafufu.

part 2 of refurbing my 1946 featherweight sewing machine. Grease! and proper cleaning wax and shine. Bonus since I'm an artist with a steady hand and thanks to my dad who worked as a sign painter in his 20s. I knew I could buy gold enamel paint to touch up the decals.

ATLANTA—October 6, 2025— The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) today updated its adult and child immunization schedules to apply individual-based decision-making to COVID-19 vaccination and recommend that toddlers receive protection from varicella (chickenpox) as a standalone immunization rather than in combination with measles, mumps, and rubella vaccination.The immunization schedules adopt recent recommendations by the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), which were approved last week by Acting Director of the CDC and Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services Jim O’Neill. The schedules will be updated on CDC.gov by October 7, 2025.

I left my bed stripped all day until bedtime so I could more easily check for ants before bed. slept through the night! but did have an ant on my face at like 6-7am. And it was freakishly close to my eye 💀

they are just DICKS, and super annoying. housemate has been patching them out as we find points of entry. And I got lucky and no bed ants last year. Alas they have returned to haunt my sleep. And crawl on my limbs and drive me to insanity. 💀 Did you know ants will go after period blood 🤪🔫

Venezuelan ants! they dont have venom so the bites don't react like fire ants do. but it does itch while they do it. But they chose violence for no reason. Also ant killer doesn't work because they just splinter off into new hives.
