This is incredible. My spouse didn't know they had a higher-than-average chance of having Huntingtons until we were adults and already had children, and this just lifts my heart for us and everyone suffering from this!! Thank you, researchers and administrators who made this possible!

111 years ago today, Martha, the last Passenger Pigeon died in her enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo. September 1st is Species Requiem Day to mourn the 869 species driven to extinction or extinction in the wild in the last 500 years by humans. Today is a day to recognize the grave danger we are in.

Our new pigeon has chosen their favorite perches. We have been blessed.
