At an impromptu neighborhood gathering in our mixed ethnicity neighborhood. Alex came and stayed mostly quiet until the subject topic turned to TV. Out of nowhere he pipes in with “Archie Bunker is a national hero”. Stopped all conversation dead. Awkward laughter. He didn’t bat an eye.

I had a rich friend in my 20’s, who was a complete fuck up, got involved in a drug deal sting. Undercover fbi gave him $5K to get coke. My friend went on a Vegas bender and blew it all and the fbi tried to charge him w misappropriation of gov funds.

Yes your taxes should support disabled people.

They should support homeless people.

They should support those living in poverty, children and the elderly.

This is literally the purpose of taxes, and I would far rather support those who need it than continue to enrich the elite.

Americans, this weekend, in conjunction with the No Kings protests, will get a full view of the people Noem hired to be ICE agents. They will display their racism proudly, they will hide behind masks because many have criminal histories, they will commit acts of violence on innocent bystanders.

Whipped out a batch of my spinach and artichoke dip and looked over and saw a bag of quickly ripening avocados.

Artichoke and spinach dip stuffed avocado is now my new favorite dinner. They complement each other perfectly with a bit of sour cream and salsa and tortilla chips.

Elections aren’t every 4 years or every 2 years, they’re every year. In California we have a special election for prop 50 and it’s a YES. If Texas can gerrymander then we should be able to. I know my comments will be filled with bots, but I won’t be intimidated. Our democracy is vanishing❤️
