One of these days I'm going to actually finish this concept 😂

So, I'm grabbing the book series so I can see where the story goes and what will happen between Xie Lian and Hua Cheng. Hopefully Mo Xiang Tong Xiu is okay. If you guys have the chance, give the show a try, it's beautifully animated and the characters are great. 10/10 no notes!

I've recently watched the donghua adaptation of Heaven Official's Blessing and OMG it was amazing! Unfortunately, because of the crackdown on LGBTQIA+ authors in China, closeted or otherwise, the studio has announced the show will be on hiatus until further notice.

Okay now they both have sheets sketched (Sylvain's needs more work though. His doesn't feel as balanced as Illia's).

A rough sketch for a character sheet for my character Illia, a 29-year-old man with fluffy jaw-length hair that flicks out in all directions. He has a scar over his nose and a generally serious expression. Sheet depicts an image of him standing, plus several portraits displaying a range of expressions/angles of his face, as well as his wolf form's head. A spear crosses diagonally through the middle.

A roughly sketched character sheet for my character Sylvain, a 22-year-old boy with long, slightly shaggy hair. Like the other sheet, has an image of him standing alongside several portraits with different expressions, plus the head of his wolf form. A thorny flowering vine weaves together with an IV tube in a double helix formation diagonally across the image.

Basically the government is the embodiment of the monopoly on violence. It holds the power to decide whether violence is justified or not.
And you accept those rules as long as you can trust the government to be fair at least to a reasonable degreee.
