One of the reasons why the 1984 Threads was so impactful was due to the fact it was so horrifying and relentlessly bleak. It really made you think “shit, this is something we should try to avoid at all costs.”

Tbh though, given the state of a lot of the “rail furs” - I wouldn’t trust them with a satsuma, let alone a locomotive.

I love theming for cons, they always say stuff like “we spent ages thinking of ideas” only to use one of the same 10 themes every con uses on rotation XD

Yeah, on the new Windows 11 version of Outlook there’s an option to send an emoji as a response - but you get notified as if it’s a proper reply
It’s especially annoying for things like support tickets which reopen the ticket if they respond with one after you’ve closed it.
