My only thoughts on the #Budget is until whichever Political Party may in power the #costoflivingcrisis & #poverty wont really have been solved until there is no need for #FoodBanks #WarmHubs & #HouseholdSupportSchemes etc.. are a thing of the past.

Whilst I welcome the £200 Winter Fuel Allowance @neilduncanjordan.bsky.social it's still going to be a juggling act to make ends meet with the cost of living far out weighing any comfort the #WFA is meant to bring. I'm 73 and it's going to be the bleakest Winter / Christmas in my own living memory.

#Wessex #Water and #Ofwat said the deal would mean the money would be used for the benefit of its customers and the local environment, rather than going to HM Treasury.
None of the sum will be paid by customers or added to bills, Ofwat said.
