The next thing is, that the backgrounds lighting is too complex. In photos you usually have one thing light either the motive or a point in the backdrop. Not all over the place. Don’t bother these comments, they’re very nerdy and most people would not notice a difference.

These are stunning and show perfectly what I said about your colors. Skillful choice! My critique on the background books always was, that they are too small. Hence the background is usually sharp when people take pictures. Your solution with covering area with terrain is a great solution.

These three things will change your results in a few moments. Your painting style is a bit brighter which creates a perfect air perspective illusion since colors far away look duller. If the backdrop is a bit blurry it looks way more natural.

Really cute that hauler. Three recommendations for backgrounds: put them as far away from the model as possible, check for shadows on it and position it parallel to the camera plane.
