this is probably me just being stupid but how are you supposed to bag as you go along with self checkouts? the ones at Sainsbury's stopped letting you put bags on at the start. can you take items off after you've stuck them on the weighing thing? it's confusing

I always feel the need to clarify adopted cause sphynx are high maintenance (they need regular bathing and they're not a fan) and this particular breed also needs their ears cleaned because they're a weird shape. breeding animals for aesthetics... not a fan

www.railforums.co.uk/threads/is-e... I fucking love forums. a 16 reply thread where people are racing to say that Glasgow trains go from Euston station not Euston underground station

just got a water flosser cause it was cheap and I was curious, not sure it'll improve my dental hygiene cause I floss anyway BUT the feeling of machine water gunning your gums is really something.

you are hereby ordered to attend the destruction of your beloved trains. failure to attend will lead to severe penalties. it is mandatory to admire the speed of the crushing, which takes place within an hour

fascinated by the way this was written as if they were being forced to attend the execution of a loved one

kind of interesting but I admit I probably unfairly didn't give it a proper look because I struggle with the "occult" framework ha

burra was clearly into men and I was fascinating by how the artworks about war all had men with hugely prominent arse cheeks. it was very distracting

I also went to the burra+colquhoun exhibition at the Tate, pretty cool, if you like that sort of 20s-50s art which is somewhere on the surrealist spectrum you'll enjoy at least one of them a lot I think

oh it's £1.15 for the continental breakfast its kind of hard to read with the resolution haha i thought you were talking after inflation calculation
tarabomp.bsky.social
yeah it's pretty expensive, i assume the audience was mostly business people who don't have a choice and get it expensed anyway

i like the insistence on calling them "golden fried chipped potatoes" instead of. chips. gotta be classy

im reading the "disputes on prosecutions" forum on railforumsuk and it's interesting. also interested finding out tfl just doesn't do penalty fares or out of court settlements, they will either warn you or prosecute you

if you use etickets on one account like trainline and you get caught once doing something seemingly dodgy then the train company can and will go through all your other tickets and a single penalty fare charge will become something much much bigger
