Drones are at maximum operational temperature limits (105°F), so looks like we're doing good old fashioned ground surveys without aerial support.

I’m deeply disappointed in @bsky.app moderation; equating pushback against people like JKR with the harm they cause to trans ppl only enables more violence. I’ll talk more soon but even a day away from social media has been healthy.

Wishing ill will to JKR is NOT against the Bsky Community Guidelines that state:

The Transportation Secretary, Sean Duffy, who's quals for the position include reality TV and being a lumberjack put forth a new directive about the usage of drones.
One part partially relaxes the regulations for flying over people (that'll be LOTS of fun) but also changes rules for BVLOS.

Because the survey area is just over 1.5 nautical miles wide. So, technically my request of a .5 radius won't cover all of it. I can reduce it to .25, but I'll have to make three times the requests.
