Changing meds for mental health is a difficult process, the effects are never instant so you don't have good feedback from your body or mind. I would say try not to be disheartened if you don't reach your goal first time, there's no shame in going back on meds to steady yourself if you need.

I've used the Book Depository before, they seemed to have similar stock to other retailers though.
For things like reference books I've contacted the publishers and if out of print they will sometimes send you PDF copies, but YMMV 8)

There's a system called Dungeon World, which is kind of like D&D lite in the same way that Pathfinder is D&D 'heavy'.
