This year's horror themed articles are doing noticeably worse than last year. Not really sure what to attribute that to, especially since the site is getting much more general traffic.

Maybe the seasonal themes just aren't doing it for people?

The idea that things can't be bad if they are "for kids" is and always has been anti-art. We should want better for them.

Really wish games media at large was more willing to actually approach Nintendo games with a critical eye. Don't have to use baby gloves, or couch everything under the idea that you liked ostensibly similar games as a kid.

I know there are going to be an endless amount of people who do stuff like this in bad faith, but I am always so grateful for actual insight from devs (GDC talks, etc).

I really do credit seeing Josh Sawyer's Attribute tuning GDC talk for getting me interested in looking at games in a deeper way

Not really sure how to reconcile my feelings about Obsidian with the current BDS boycott of Microsoft. Will be abstaining from Outer Worlds 2, of course, but like...how am I supposed to feel lol

Obsidian is my favorite dev, and I hope Outer Worlds 2 is great, but should I be rooting for success?
