I spent my life hating the smell and related disease so much, I ended three relationships because the other person either tried to hide the smoking (hello, smell?), wouldn't stop after we got together, or took it up sometime after we started up. No tolerance for any of it. 3/#

He was otherwise a fit, strong guy who was, per coroner, dead before he hit the sidewalk. My mother, taken out by COPD at North KC Hospice after nearly 70 years smoking. They smoked everywhere, including at all family meals. I never smoked; it limited my interest in smoked pot, too. 2/#
