For me, the wrong parent passed all those years ago. I miss my mom; she was a sweet soul who deserved better! The other lingers in our life reminding us he does what he wants and it doesn’t matter if it hurts others, manipulating situations and displaying narcissistic traits that are seen in Trump.

I have way too many friends and know way too many talented people who are out of work right now. This feels very much like 2005 but worse and it’s scary and sad. Genuinely good people who do good work who have been looking for months. Ugh!

I was referred to as “ideal for some reason” in an extremely condescending way by an aunt tonight. She was comparing her relationship with her parents to my relationship with her parents (my grandparents). Family has failed me again. She can fuck off!
