not allowed to reply (which is fine i don't need/want that privilege) but wanted to weigh in being a fallout obsessive individual.
What is said is not incorrect on New Vegas (crashy buggy & all) but it is often forgot it was a swan song. a last hurrah by the last to work on the franchise (cont).

Fallout New Vegas is from 2010 and is still the high water mark for first person RPGs, tho I don't think that's necessarily a good thing for the genre or for itself
I actually am curious to know what people think are the earliest video games that have a serious claim to being the best in their genre. Not like “good for the time,” but like genuinely better than anything else out there.
