There are a lot of things I would do with a time machine, but high up there would be a trip to 1975 in order to smack Wallace Broecker across the knuckles with a ruler while he was writing his scientific paper and scream "NO, USE 'ANTHROPOCENTRIC CLIMATE CHANGE' INSTEAD, FOOL!"
