There are now really nice classic Nighthawk and Jim Hammond mods, plus upgraded ones for Polaris and Captain Britain.

Hammond especially would be cool because the Invaders, West Coast Avengers, Heroes for Hire thing fits my maximum team-building potential objective.

I fell away from modding Ultimate Alliance after I settled upon a roster of characters I was happy with *and* the best modder in the scene passed away.

Since then, there have been a few massive improvements on some of my fav characters. Now I gotta find that old tutorial I used.

What needs to be done is start demystifying legacy media because it happened to be around prior to 1995.

I don't care about their past accomplishments. Now they're no different than the holding companies which own Atari or Bell and Howell or Toys R Us.

The CBS stuff is gross but at the same time has the same impact as worrying about a leadership at at fax machine manufacturer in 2025.

Network news in general is garbage nowadays, the web presence is full of dodgy ads posing as articles and cross promotional shit like ABC News site hyping Disney.

Even from an early age, country felt weirdly stage-y to me, more than any cartoonish cock rock act.

It proclaimed itself the music of "just folks" but everything about felt contrived and ritualized, leaning into reductive cliches.
