Every time I see the notable Canadian city’s in print, I misread as the protagonist of a Ghibli film.

Imagine if Missisauga, Vaughn, or Pickering went around with the slogan “My Neighbour Toronto”.

Probably still “Steel Magnolias”, because the women are the focus, they love each other even when they may not always like each other, and the dialogue is humour despite tragedy (and sharp humour at that). I do wish I had been old enough to have seen the original stage version that spurred the film.
