A few days ago before the storm, the only meat left on sale was mild sausage. After keeping it frozen and then having chopped capsicum/bell peppers, I made it into chili. Because of how I cooked it, it’s not greasy, and is better than ground beef. An upside to winter. 😊

Second shovel is done. Car hasn’t been touched but the walks are clear. The second amount was fluffy ice and much harder to clear (so I’m glad I shovelled before). And one of my shovel’s handle is unfastened and I dislike the backup. The next few days will be interesting.

Friday, I was getting on the train while heading to work and a protester had this sign. The male-presenting person let me take a photo when I asked him.

Feels timely.
