I finished Blood on Her Tongue on my metro ride this morning. This was a captivating gothic novel with an interesting take on vampires & what it means to be sisters. It also does a fantastic job at touching on mental illness & how it was viewed in 1887 while still being tactful #booksky
Letโs try something a little more Gothic next. Blood on Her Tongue by @johannavanveen.bsky.social has been on my TBR for a long time.

Started Between Two Fires tonight. Iโm about 50 pages in and Iโm still on the fence about it. I feel like the synopsis I keep seeing so far is over inflated? Iโll give it some time to see if it builds. #booksky

Okay I devoured Hemlock and Silver in one setting. T Kingfisher has such an incredible way of doing dark fairy tales that are just creepy enough without towing into โedge lordโ territory. Plus a FMC over the age of 30 that isnโt written like sheโs ancient. #booksky
