Obviously this is highly subjective and not at all a dig at inkers and their contribution to the industry OR me saying Steve’s inks were bad. I’m just a huge freak for pencils and sketchiness as a whole.

So my “hot” comics take is that if your pencils look like this…please…don’t let them make you feel like you need to ink. I’m begging you. Throw some values or, if you must, some color—and call it a day! Show me the artifice! It’s so compelling! (I believe this is Steve Skroce for Doc Frankenstein)
