Medicaid has been gutted by HB 1 & “trigger laws” exist in many states (which trigger opting out of Medicaid expansion if federal reimbursement dips below a certain number), this is something to think seriously about, & “trigger” laws should be removed. #DisabilityJustice #DisabilitySky 💜

There’s also only so far you can “stretch” food stamps that, on average, provide $187/month to recipients. That’s less than $7 a day. Food prices are also on the rise, & it’s a little late to suddenly tell ppl who may have spent their previous balances to “stretch” more. #SNAP #Resist #FoodStamps
