fun fact: no winner-take-all game in MLB postseason history (DS game 5, LCS/WS game 7) has gone longer than 12 innings.

baseball is the best preparation for death because it does not come with a clock that tells you when your suffering will end one way or the other

Aren’t these the same parents who took their kids out of school for 2 weeks for a vacation south last year? That’s 10 days missed! What a farce!

Oh.....

Is there a way for customers to search inventory before they arrive at the store?

Because of system constraints, our website can’t display US product inventory at the Depot at this time. The best way to see what’s available is to visit the store in person or call the Depot store directly

I think the term "fireside chat" should only be used for actual chats sitting around a wood burning fireplace outside while drinking beer.
Chamber of Commerce this is the only fireside chat I would pay for (assuming you provide the beer)

Through the end of September the city of Fredericton has issued building permits for 1165 homes – 24% higher than the full-year record of 938 set in 2022, with three months left in the year. One of the latest is for an 8-storey, 85 unit apartment building on Queen Street.

You are telling me that the Federal Greens were a viable party in 2025?
thefwordnb.bsky.social
It sucks. Once again reiterating the need for a viable third party and not 5 small parties dressed up in a trench coat.

Mark Carney sold himself as a pro-sovereignty, transformational leader, but he has acted like a defender of a status quo based on confined dependence on a Trumpist United States.
In any case, that’s not what Canadians voted for. But I’m not sure that Carney cares about that small point.
