I’m exhausted of feeling like I’m in the Truman Show living in the south. I’m the only one who sees Trump’s fascism bc they choose not to pay attention. My loved ones are being radicalized by algorithms into worse people who side w people who perpetuated beliefs that hurt me the most. I’m TIRED.

Maybe she will learn to appreciate things like that eventually :) I know I didn't for a long time, but I learned how special it is. She's super lucky that you make things like that. No one in my family ever did so I've had nothing passed down, I would've loved it.

their only concern is always "oh no so now you'll never want to go back to church :(" never concern about me and how I've been abused. Only how it affects recruiting me. It's so fucked up. And him being like "well I didn't know you meant no to religion forever!!!" Is exactly that. Grrrr!

Religion is so good at thought stopping that I didn't even think about how Eve's "sin" was seeking knowledge until like 22 years into being a Christian. My brain chemistry changed in that moment. PUNISHED FOR SEEKING KNOWLEDGE!?!
